          Fehr Bros. Industries was established in Europe in 1857 as an international trading

    company. The Fehr family has been trading around the world ever since. Fehr Bros.

    Industries, Inc. is a member of the Baltic Exchange. 

          In 1949 the Fehr family expanded their operations to the United States with a trading

    company in New York City which was later moved to Wall Street in the heart of the

   financial district. This division connected US companies with a wide variety of products

   from around the world. This was the beginning of our trade in Fasteners and Rigging

   Hardware. Many Fastener and Hardware Distributors still remember us for the valuable

   support we provided in helping build their businesses. 

         In the 1970's, Basil Fehr envisioned a need for a distribution arm of the company.

   In 1974 Fehr Bros. opened at its current location in Saugerties, NY. Nestled in the

   foot hills of the Catskill Mountain along the Hudson River, the Saugerties facility  

   has transitioned the company from a trading house to a stocking Master Distributor.

   Our inventory of 2800 SKU's supports many Industries including Truck and Garage Door

   Hardware, Theatrical Installation, Marine and Dock Hardware and Construction Hardware.

   In addition to our stock program, we can support your needs with importing specialty

   hardware, custom packaging requirements and custom cable and chain assemblies.  

         Fehr Bros. sources products from around the world to bring our customers high quality

   products at competitive prices.  Our operations include an office in China to oversee our

   production needs, coordinate our shipments and build on the solid relationships that we

   have established over the decades.  Many of our Sales and Sales Support people have

   been with us for over fifteen years and provide a wealth of knowledge for our

   customers to tap.
