Stainless steel wire rope clips must be installed according to industry standards to ensure a safe and reliable grip. Always place the saddle on the live end of the wire rope (“Never saddle a dead horse”), and use the correct number of clips spaced and torqued as recommended for the rope diameter. Improper installation can result in slippage, rope failure, and serious injury or damage. These clips are not intended for overhead lifting or life-safety applications unless specifically rated for such use. Periodically inspect and re-tighten after initial loading.
